The score was 21-7, and the victory allowed LSU to return to Omaha for the CWS for the the first time under new head coach Paul Mainieri. But beyond the implications on the field, this victory provided the perfect closing chapter in the storied history of the original Alex Box Stadium.

That moment has been memorialized in this unique collector's piece by famed Louisiana artist Tony Bernard in this limited edition, numbered and signed framed print. This collage also includes actual game-used dirt from the Alex Box Stadium infield during this final game, along with a photo of the post-game celebration on the infield.
